9th Annual Ottawa’s Biggest Bake Sale

‘BAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR OTTAWA FAMILIES’

Plan to stop by Billings Bridge Shopping Centre October 10 as your taste buds will be in for a treat. The 9th Annual Ottawa’s Biggest Bake Sale presented by TD Canada Trust will take place in the front entrance of Billings Bridge from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Christmas Exchange along with community groups and local bakeries will be selling delicious baked goods just in time for Thanksgiving. All proceeds will benefit both the Christmas Exchange and participating non-profit organizations.

In addition to selling a wide assortment of scrumptious sweets, Christmas Exchange will be offering reusable bags, compliments of TD Canada Trust, for a donation of two dollars each, as well as a variety of lapel pins. The Billings Bridge branch of TD Canada Trust will be selling gently used cookbooks from October 3rd to the 10th to benefit this fundraiser.

Ottawa’s Biggest Bake Sale is one of several fundraising events held by Christmas Exchange that helps to provide a decent holiday meal to families and individuals in need during the December holiday season. Last year alone, the Exchange provided direct food assistance to 25,180 individuals in 9,278 families, including 11,278 children and 2,198 seniors.
